Cefyn Burgess Textile Artist
Rich colour, texture, pattern and clear striking images
dominate Cefyn's recent collection of textiles which are inspired by the chapels of Wales and the delicate graphic
patterns engraved on slate fireplaces in his home town of Bethesda, Gwynedd, Wales.
Lowri Davies Ceramic Artist
Lowri's Welsh heritage
is a major source of inspiration. Using Bone China with hand-built and slip-cast processes she makes jugs, cups and objects
that are decorated with her own illustrations of flowers, birds, domestic objects and Welsh stock imagery. The work stems
from references of china displays on Welsh dressers and ceramic souvenirs.
Carwyn Evans Artist
Carwyn works in mixed media,
photography and installation. His work is concerned principally with issues related to his individual sense of place: 'Most
of my work deals with my own cultural experiences. Its purpose is to question those aspects that are inseparable to language,
community and a region's character - aspects that should be protected from further destruction.'
